Welcome to Lono’s Garden Paradise
Who is Lono
In Hawaiian religion, the god Lono is associated with fertility, agriculture, rainfall, music and peace. In many of the Hawaiian stories of Lono, he is a fertility and music god who comes and goes from the Islands. Lono’s Garden Paradise was created as a place that Lono may enjoy while away from the islands.

multidimensional levels and he became devoted to the herb and its healing way.

Hawaii in 1993 and began learning cutting edge organic farming practices. That
journey has continued in the B.C. Kootenay region for over twenty years.
Gary has been a licensed medical grower since 2008 . He has grown for multiple
cancer patients including his wife. In 2019 he became the first client to work with
Nelson Community Futures on licensing and received his license for micro
cultivation in June 2020. Using what he learned at community futures, he was
able to apply and receive his industrial hemp license as well.
Gary holds a BFA in Fine Arts from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY and the

also grows food, selling at Nelson Farmers market, festivals, and local
